Some browsers occasionally show a "logged out" message even while you're still logged in. If this happens, feel free to click the "Login" button -- as long as it doesn't say "Log in," you're in the system and your progress is being saved, provided you've locked in your answers before closing your browser.

Room 2 is about the daily friction of living and learning alongside other people. Self-knowledge is only useful if you can apply it when things get hard. This room puts communication styles into motion — the Flock Styles stop being a quiz result and start being a toolkit.

Don't worry if you got something incorrect, you will be able to review and modify your locked in answers at the end of the module or where appropriate in future modules. However, all must be locked in before continuing on to the next module or room.

Skipping this module may affect your future success in the program. However, you can return at a later time to complete this if you wish.

Activity 21 — Time, Conflict, and Connection

The core content for this activity — what time planning is, what good and poor time planning looks like — lives in its own slide deck, not on this page.

Review the Time, Conflict & Connection slide deck before continuing.

“Time is not a morality issue — it is a skill issue. Participants who chronically struggle with time are not lazy. They are often dealing with unaddressed executive function differences, sensory overload, depression, or chaotic home environments. Meet them where they are.”~Queen Opal

Activity 22 — Quiz: Time Planning

Activity 23 — Time Wasters

Choose whichever of these are your own personal time wasters — pick as many as fit.

Activity 24 — Quiz: Conflict Solution Styles

Activity 26 — Conflict Style Scenario Practice

Conflict styles reference -- Baron Vivace (Peacock, Collaborating), Sir Valor (Eagle, Competing), Lady Haven (Dove, Accommodating), Lord Quill (Owl, Avoiding), with best-used guidance and conflict factors for each

Click on each button below to see how the flock member would respond in each situation.

Scenario 1: The Borrower

A friend or family member keeps using your things without asking and is slow to return them. You've said something before. It's happening again.

Scenario 2: The Feedback

Someone you respect — a teacher, coach, or parent — gives you feedback you believe missed the full picture. You feel frustrated and want to respond.

Scenario 3: The Disagreement

Two people you care about are in a conflict that's affecting the whole group. Neither is in charge. You're not directly involved — but the tension is affecting you.

Queen Opal's Checkpoint

What Queen Opal recommends, based on knowing what's ahead — the choice is always yours.

You can identify your personal time wasters, your conflict style default, and a relationship where you'll practice stronger communication. Completing all 6 activities above is what got you here.

“Room 2 shifts from Time, Conflict & Connection to self-expression and Finding your Voice. Participants begin to articulate who they are, what they need, and what they have to offer.”~Queen Opal

Are you ready to move on, or do you need to modify any of your locked in responses?

One More Thing

What's one thing you could have done which might have affected the outcome in a different direction?

Activity 28 — Quizzes

Finding Your Voice

IEP Quiz

ADA & Workplace Rights Quiz (everyone takes this one)

Activity 29 — Citizenship

“Citizenship, in this module, means more than a class in civics. It's the daily practice of being a responsible, contributing member of a community — at school, at home, and eventually at work. Citizenship includes showing up reliably and on time, being accountable, and caring about others, not just yourself. At the workplace, citizenship becomes professionalism — and employers notice it immediately.”~Queen Opal

Activity 30 — Vocational Interests

Tap each type to see examples. Then tap them again below in order of interest — first tap = most interesting. Your top 3 are what carry forward.

Your order of interest

Activity 31 — Job Levels

Choose the two levels you believe you're currently qualified to pursue.

Activity 32 — Creating a Personal Coat of Arms

A Coat of Arms has long been a symbol of identity and values. Fill each space below — swap as many times as you like before locking it in. Each icon can only be used once across your shield, so choose the one that fits best.

Which sounds most like you?

These aren't absolutes — they just may be your flock style that comes out in certain communication situations.

Activity 33 — Responsibility Challenge

Choose one scenario to reflect on.

What happened in this situation?

Who was affected — and how?

What should have been done differently?

What's one thing that you could have done which might have affected the outcome in a different direction?

Tori's Checkpoint

What Tori recommends, based on knowing what's ahead — the choice is always yours.

Can you articulate a personal need, right, or strength — and show willingness to speak up for yourself? Completion, not proficiency, is what unlocks Room 3.

Level 1Stay in this room and do a bit more work. You're building something important — take the time to get it right.
Level 2You can stay and build a few more skills, or move ahead to Room 3. If you move on, Room 2 will still be here when you need it.
Level 3There's no stopping you. You know your rights, you know your voice, and you know how to use them.

Are you ready to move on, or do you need to modify any of your locked in responses?

Clears everything you've answered in Room 2 so you can start it fresh. Cannot be undone.
